Today we have a new product for 2021 on review – BQ Aurora 6430l with a price of 9990 rubles. Last year I did a review of the BQ Aurora SE and at the time I really liked it for its balanced filling and its optimization. I hope the novelty will make the same good impression.
BQ Aurora 6430l came in a non-standard BQ box with a good print and standard equipment:
Outwardly, the smartphone looks great, although it is very similar to most modern smartphones. Strict, but smooth outlines of the body and a large block of cameras on the back cover. The case itself is made of pleasant plastic and fits comfortably in the hand.
As is customary now, the dimensions are not small due to the huge 6.4″ IPS display with a resolution of FullHD + 2310×1080 pixels. By the way, there are no questions about it. An excellent, bright and juicy screen, like for IPS. And minimal frames and beautiful fillets make it look more premium and expensive.
And it’s very good that the cutout for the front camera was made minimal, competitors have it much larger in diameter.
The main speaker produces a quite pleasant and clear sound, the volume is of course quite large, as for a non-musical smartphone.
And of course, as befits the flagship of BQ, they put a good Helio P60 octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.0 GHz and a rather powerful Mali G72 MP3 video core. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage with good speed and expandable with a MicroSD memory card.
Numbers are, of course, good, but what about in practice? And in practice, everything, as expected, is excellent. The interface is very responsive, no freezes, slowdowns, and even long waits for the launch of an application.
The whole thing runs on a near-clean Android 10 system with a few minor cosmetic changes.
With such hardware, you can already play games, let’s see what BQ Aurora 6430l will show in the most popular toys at adequate settings:
- League of Legends: Wild Rift – stable 30 FPS, more can not be set yet, but the game is quite comfortable and very beautiful
- Arcades like Tower Defense and others are going great
As for wireless interfaces, again, everything is super. Branded feature of all BQ:
- Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz
- Bluetooth 4.2
- NFC
- GPS
- They work clearly, quickly, conveniently.
Special attention should be paid to cameras, because there are quite a few of them. The rear camera module contains as many as 4 matrices, the main one is 16 MP and it is able to take very good pictures in the daytime, clear, sharp and detailed pictures.
Sometimes I lack color saturation, but this can be easily corrected in the Google Photos editor or any other. At dusk, it’s still one thing to get reasonable quality, but there are more noises.
Additional modules will help you make beautiful bokeh in portrait mode and a macro shot with a resolution of 2 MP, but, by the way, without soap.
The front camera is already 20 MP, a huge number, but in fact it is a good selfie camera, one of the best in this segment.
The autonomy of the BQ Aurora 6430l is expectedly quite good – 4000 mAh. Recently, BQ has installed such batteries almost everywhere, and for good reason. This capacity is sufficient. For the whole day, even quite active use. Of course, you can plant and play toys faster or vice versa, it will keep 3-4 days in the rang mode.
The overall impression is made up of all these factors and subjective sensations. And I want to say that the novelty fully met my expectations and deserves the attention of buyers. For 9990 rubles you get a modern, balanced and fast smartphone from a Russian company with a good guarantee.
You can buy BQ Aurora 6430L at BQ official store.
